| Biography: | Occupation:stay at home mom (FOR NOW) Interests: I like to spend time with my family. I have four boys already. Their ages range from 10 to 2. They are, in age order, Jordy(10), Marito(6), Christian(4), and Nicolas(2). This is the fifth child I am expecting and we were just informed 2 days ago that not only is she the daughter that we have always wanted, but that she is going to be born with down syndrome. i am very overwhelmed with all the responsibility that having a disabled child entales as well as having to care for my four boys as well. I am worried about how they will react ( esp Jordy ) when I break the news to them that the sister they so desired will be differnt then what we expected. I have looked over some of the notes written and answere din your forum page as well as the stories and poems and in the past two days, they have come to be a tremendous help. I hope you will accept me as a new member as my baby is due in July and I will need all the advise I can get from parents that have already experienced what it is liek to have a child with down syndrome. | ||
