George Capone, M.D.
Dr. George Capone is a research scientist at Kennedy Krieger Institute. He is Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Capone currently serves as the director of KKI's Down Syndrome Clinic, and is an Attending Physician on KKI's Neurobehavior Unit and Comprehensive Rehabilitation Unit.
Brian Chicoine, M.D.
Dr. Chicoine is the Medical Director of the Adult Down Syndrome center and on the Family Practice faculty at Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Chicoine specializes in the area of adults Down syndrome and has been with the center since its inception in 1992.

David Koppenhaver is the Associate Professor, Department of Language, Reading, and Exceptionalities, Appalachian State University. Libby Kumin Ph.D.

Dennis McGuire, Ph.D.
Dr. McGuire is the Social Worker at the Adult Down Syndrome center at Lutheran General Hospital. He has twenty years of clinical experience in both the mental health and disability fields. He has been with the center since its inception in 1992.
Siegfried Pueschel, M.D., Ph.D., MPH, J.D.
Siegfried Pueschel has dedicated he life work towards helping others, especially those with Down syndrome. His most recent book is A Parent Guide to Down Syndrome: Toward a Brighter Future (2nd Ed.); researcher and physician, DS Program, Rhode Island Hospital.
Barbara Ransom, J.D.
Barbara Ransom concentrates her practice in disabilities rights, especially around matters of criminal justice. In addition, Ms. Ransom represents persons with disabilities, women and minorities in litigation concerning employment discrimination, police misconduct and access to public accommodations. In the 1990s, Ms. Ransom served as the project director for the National Advisory Group for Justice, a national task force dedicated to implementing the Americans with Disabilities Act in the criminal justice system.

Brian Skotko
Brian Skotko currently attends Harvard Medical School and Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He recently authored major research on how physicians deliver a diagnosis of Down syndrome to new parents. He has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The L.A. Times, and on ABC's Good Morning America.
Sally Shott, M.D.
Dr. Shott is affiliated with a private practice in addition to her duties as an associate professor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Shott treats children with otologic disease, sinus disease and provides airway management. She has a special interest in children with Down Syndrome and the specific medical issues they face.
