Your first step to being part of the DownSyn family is to register. Registration helps us to get to know you and helps you by insuring that our forums stay a friendly place.
When you register, please read the agreement terms and be sure to fill in all the required fields. The Biography section will not be visible as part of your profile but is required in order to complete the registration process. The remaining identifying fields are optional. You can fill them in or leave them blank as you see fit. However, filling them in with some information will help our members get to know you and your family better.
After you have completed the registration process, one of the moderators will review your registration and approve it. You will be notified by email once your registration has been approved. You will not be able to post to the forum until your registration is approved.
After you have been approved, you can login to the forums. There will be a checkbox on the login page that will automatically log you in when you visit from the same computer. Don't use that option if you are using a public computer such as one in a library or internet cafe.
