If you wish to print a topic to give to someone who doesn't have a computer or to just save it in your files, you can use the printer-friendly view of a topic. Clicking the printer icon will redisplay the topic in a format that is better for printing. Images and signatures will be removed and author profile information will be condensed. The topic will still be displayed in multiple pages (assuming that it spans more than one page) but you can change that by clicking the special icon : | | : found at the top and bottom left hand corners of the screen.
You can also select to print only a range of messages by using the boxes at the upper right hand corner of the screen. You can specify a starting and ending message number or you can specify a starting message and number of messages. For example, putting 4 in the first box and 10 in the second box will display messages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. Specifying 4 in the first box and -7 in the second box will also display messages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
