Ok, being a new DS mom, I don't know about this conference, but am interested in finding out more about it. Is there an online link or can any of you tell me more about it? Thanks!

sure thing! It's a yearly conference put on by the NDSC http://www.ndsccenter.org
Parents from all over the country come to hear great speakers. They have a sibling conference too for siblings of kids with Ds, but they have to be 12 or older, and they have a self advocate conference where people with Ds go and have their own conference.
I went last year and it was a BLAST! It was a little overwhelming, I had not had much contact with adults with Ds before this, but it was amazing. I can't wait to go back!

I have a bunch of stuff from the Pittsburgh convention. I'll try to scan it in and let everyone see it.
There are a lot of adults with Down syndrome who attend. It is awesome.
