This is my first post on the forum, though I have lurked for some time. I have three kids, including a 10 month old son, Henry, who has DS.

A friend of mine writes for an online magazine and featured Henry this week as a lead-up to a Buddy Walk article later in the week. I think she did a great job with positive language and presenting parenting a child w/DS in good light.

Hello and welcome!!! I agree the article was very positive and your little guy is a cutie!!!

On a side note, we moved from Richmond to MO four years ago and I miss it terribly!!

Welcome Gwen and Henry! I liked the article, it is a postitive look on DS and I hope it helps someone that may be carrying a baby or just had a baby with Ds.

I just want to add that Welcome to Holland had helped me too.
