Wow! What a wonderful place to of been! Our first one-would of left the kids at home, if I planned better, but it was still awesome! People with DS everywhere and their familes-hundreds of people all together for the sake of one little extra chromosome. I walked around all weekend smiling, even though my kids were not. The feeling I had with all these people I cannot describe-it was just such a nice feel good feeling, surrounded by smiles and conversations. I had an 18 year old girl with DS tell me that Marty should be in big boy pants by now since he is 4! That was funny!

The dinner was great-I wish I would of known some of the newer people better-since I haven't got on here much lately-so many beautiful familes here at Downsyn and such great people! I will apologize here for Marissa! She is not good at all at restaurants and it showed-of course I just kept eating and letting her do naughty things for the sake of some "Silence"-but I am sure there were a few people, if not everyone who wanted to kill us! She will do better next time?!?

And I got no pics at all! I know others will be posting theirs...well here's to a wonderful exhausting weekend-it was so worth it and I am already looking forward to next years-without the kids of course-I think I heard rumors it it going to be in Kansas City?

So glad you had fun. I wish I had been there. I was looking forward to seeing you and meeting everyone. We were planning on it, but Lily broke her leg(right above the kenn), so we had to miss it. We are now dealing with a full leg cast and a lot of pain.

Michele, I had a GREAT time sitting with you! I just felt bad for your husband and that finnicky appetite of his - LOL!!! Marissa was fine. As Leah said, we all have kids. I kept wishing there was something I could do since I was there alone but she would probably have freaked out something awful if I had taken her.

Great to meet you. It's so weird that I can see your face and imagine you talking as I was reading your post. Fun, fun, fun!

It was a pleasure meeting you guys, your kids are awesome and they didn't bother us at all, my Daniel was asleep thru almost the entire meal, and very cranky when he woke up, so I totally understand, I just regret not being able to take more pictures because of that.
The convention was great, I know it's a little soon but I'm planning to attend next year. Remember you promise to post more often.

OMG Court and Michelle are the ones who saw me freak out being outside of the hotel too long at night! ROFL...Court parked in a parking lot across the street from the hotel, now mind you the night before her and her MIL got chased by a homeless person, so I had that on my mind! So we are trying to figure out which spot we are parked in and I am nervous holding my purse and the diaper bag and there was a suspicious car right near us full of people. So to say I was a bit on edge is putting it lightly! lol So I am standing right next to Court and she says, "Christina watch out!" And I threw my purse and the diaper bag in the trunk and slammed it shut! I thought someone was coming up! OMG I was SOOO nervous! ROFL Michelle also the 3 pacies aka 'pipes' cracked me UP! I didn't notice any of the kids acting up just having a grand ole time running around being kids! It was cute to watch!

LOL!!! OMG I forgot about that it was HILARIOUS...I am literally cracking up abotu it right now, I popped the trunk to get Koy's stroller and Chrsitina was standng so close tot he car her purse was in teh way of the trunk closing, so I said C, watch out, and she turned white as a ghost THREW our purses in the trunk and slammed it....all I could do was DIE laughing which make it worse cause then we had to stand outside in the NOT so nicest part of town even longer!!!!!-Courtney
