When I try to submit a post or reply I keep getting errors "Invalid session - please resubmit the form" and "no post mode specified" but if I keep trying to submit the post I end up with multiple posts. As long as no one posts straight away they are easy to delete but it means that it takes ages just to post one reply. Just wondering if it is a common problem or am I special in some way

It happens to me, too. I think it's a combination of several things - internet traffic, the hosting provider, the database that's fed by us on a daily basis - I know Tom's aware of it and working on fixes. Just another opportunity to exercise patience

The invalid session message usually occurs if you take too long to type in and submit your response. So if you start typing your reply and then go for a walk before you finish it, you may get the invalid session message. That should not cause duplicates.
