Emergency prayer request for DIL

Ellen my DIL is 32 weeks Pregnant not in labour but in hospital in a bad way.
They don't know what is wrong.
First they first thought she was in labour, have ruled that out. They have x-rayed and scanned done organ failure tests, nothing is showing what it wrong. Just had a call now that itís not her gallbladder.

They were giving her pethidine now have switched to morphine. She is getting about an hours brake from pain, but they can only give her the morphine every 3hours because of the baby.

They were thinking of giving her a ceasarian last night but have held off. Please pray they find an answer soon the poor girl is in so much pain. When I was talking to Michael just now I could hear her screaming in the background, Iíve never heard anyone in that much pain...
They moved her to a bigger hospital in Rockhampton yesterday, for the ceasarian.

I don't understand how they cant work out what it is. Would a blood test show infection if itís something from the mastitis? Gees this girl has the worse time pregnant both times now.
Iíll update when I hear something

Four Doctors and a surgeon came they brushed off mastitis saying that it cant be that cause she hasnít had the baby yet. Arhhhhh!!! They are getting another surgeon to come talk to them.
My mum rang her sister who is the head Midwife / LC at Mt Isa hos she said her DD my cousin has an infected duct the size of a golf ball while she was pregnant it infected her whole body (I remember hearing something my Aunty being angry she couldnítí get to the hos her DD was at) anyway she said yes very likely it is that.
Bloods have been taken but get this none are back yet, even though they were told all was clear. Though the kids couldnít have things the wrong way...
A nurse is on her way down now to hurry the lab results up.
Thanks for listening will post back as soon sa we know the results.
Oh and yesterday they gave her two shots of Antibiotics for infection, just encase.
PS Aden is stripping off his clothes telling me ďpoolĒ and signing swimming. He is now pulling on his pants will have to take him for a quick dip. Timing

No real news to update.
The surgeons have been around a few times, still not sure what is going on.
They have stopped the morphine and have her on some type of pain relief something like Codapane Forte don't think that is the brand name. Also she is on two different intravenous antibiotics to treat infections of the tummy and bowel.
They still don't have the lab test results back and are saying it could be Mastitis, gallbladder (although they are saying the pain is too high for gallbladder, but the symptoms are the same) or now the spleen to bowel a small blockage maybe. But they have no idea. My guess is they are waiting to see if the Antibiotics help or waiting on those darn lab results, surely they should be back by now? I don't know though how long these things take.
Baby is fine not sure of anything else. Doesnít sound like Ellenís mum or Michael are being told much cause the Doctors just don't know.
They have stockings on her legs now, to stop any blood clots and have her up walking to help with that as well.
I feel so bad for her, sheís still crying out in pain though the pain meds are taking the edge off but not long enough.
Will update if I hear anymore, her mum has been sent home Visiting hours are only to 8pm. Michael is able to stay longer.

I was able to talk to Michael tonight away from the hospital..

The surgeon has said that they CANT see all her organs and intestines because she is pregnant the baby, fluid and placenta are in the way. That being pregnant can stretch and twist things and that these things can happen anyway, but being pregnant complicates thingsÖ

Please keep Ellen, Michael and their little unborn baby girl in your prayers.

Iím off to bed will update in the morning once I know more.

What a horrible situation all the way around. I keep thinking about how any pastor at our church would respond had Michael called there. I think someone would probably have gone to the hospital to bring what money they could and to pray with him. That pastor was a jerk!!!!

Praying for your son, DIL and the baby.

The pain was better today, still really bad needing around the clock pain relief but nowhere near liek she was. Maybe the Antibiotics are working. They gave her some food today to see if that would bring on more pain, it did a little so still waiting.
they will increase her food in the morning (itís 11:30pm here) if the pain increases they will have a better idea of what is happening. If not then it looks like sheís had an infection of some kind.
Iím so relived for her that the pain has eased off a bit and her baby is still tucked away growing..
Thanks for all the prayers they mean a lot. My son also said to say thanks from him.
Will update more when we know.

PS had to take my 6yrs old to the hospital tonight itís a few miles away. arrived home around 10Pm to find Craig (DH) had been locked out. Our lawn will be nice and green he spent about 4hours watering lol heís asleep by 8:30pm most night...
Matt has an ear infection, started swimming this week. Has all the ear drops and Abís now, hope he is feeling better in the morning.

They are on their way home.
They still arenít saying what it is, but they will look into it more after she has the baby.
They have now found a mass of fluid and blood, not through her breast tissue but more towards her back. Still sounds like this is connected to the mastitis she had. Then again they are still talking about gallbladder and her spline. Anyway she is going home the Abís have kicked in and are working.
I don't get why itís so hard to get an answer.
