Morgan's Wonderland

I rarely post but I really wanted to share with everyone about my trip to Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio, Texas.

San Antonio is my hometown (although I now live in Colorado). All of my family still lives there (SA). I am there several times a year so we have watched Morgan's Wonderland being built from the ground up and have followed all the "hype" about it. I honestly didn't believe that the park was going to be as "great" as they kept saying. (Long story long, sorry.)

I wish I had the words to describe just how AWESOME this place is!! The builders of this park thought of everything and then some. The place is AMAZING!!! - and not just for people with special needs but EVERYONE. Truely, truely a magical place!

I would encourage everyone to 'google' it and also check it out on youtube. There are a ton of stories and they do a much better job than I can of describing it. Here are just a couple of links (but there are definitely many more).

They also have a facebook page that has lots of pictures.

Also worth noting in how fabulous the employees at the park were! Every single employee we encountered seemed to be GENUINELY happy to be there and they were eager and enthusiastic to ensure we were happy.

If you happen to be anywhere near south Texas I would highly, highly recommend this park. I honestly had more fun than I ever did at Disney World, Sea World or Fiesta Texas (a 6 flags park). I will go every chance I get.

One last thing is the cost of admission.. anyone with special needs is FREE, if you are with someone with special needs it is only $5 (and there is no limit to how many "guests" can accompany the person with special needs for the $5 cost.)

check it out. really.
Tracy

It looks totally awesome!!! Bit of a trip from here but if I ever make it over to the states again I will try to get there. Last time I was there was in 1991 so a long time before I had Talitha.

That is really awesome. I wish we were not so far away Sad . Maybe we will see something like that around here soon. By the way, your daughter is beautiful.
