Timing Out

Is there any way we can get the time extended when typing posts? It is really annoying when you take 10 minutes to give some advice and get timed out when you go to submit. It erases everything. I feel for the people who can't type fast. I can and I still get timed out.

all I have to do when that happens is resubmit and it goes through....... unless the whole forum goes down.

I also have made a habit of copying everything long....just in case..... but I still have vista so this happens to me in a lot of areas.....

but really try hitting submit again! Always works for me!

It often takes me time cause I am holding a kid or stuff...... it happens a lot~!

Thats happened me a few times.....so just before I post every reply I do a
[ctrl] a to highlight what I've written and then I do a
[ctrl]c to copy it!

If the session times out I then post a new reply and do a
[ctrl] v and the contents of the original post are pasted in new edit box.

My sessions often time out cos writing doesn't come easy to me.

I'm with you Jane...I'd love the spell checker back.

Yes, spell check would be awesome. Lots of times I don't have the time to go back and proof read, but a spell check would be nice to have so I don't look all together dumb. Very Happy

Use Firefox if you want a spell checker. Has a spell checker built in! Cool

OK, thanks, but how bout the rest of the answer, huh, huh, how about the timeout thing?
Wink
Yeah, I usually end up copying my posts to the clipboard, then to notepad, then back out of the original post, and repost the reply by copying my reply into a freshly-timed post. No, I haven't noticed this, at all. LOL.
We. . . can. . . cope. . . no. . . energy. . . left. . . must . . . press. . . submit. . . NOW!!!
