One of our little Angels passed away yesterday. He was seven years old and was recovering from Leukemia. His mom was a member here since 2004. ldrake

Here is his caringpages website.

Amy Armstrong posted about Ryan's death on facebook, but I had no idea this was who she was talking about. And I had no idea he had leukemia. I am heartbroken.

I didn't know either. It was sudden. He went in for treatment on August 10th. Go read Lauren's last post on Caringpages.org ... it is gut wrenching.

My heart is broken in a million pieces. I wish FB hadn't taken over the boards. I wish we were all here like we used to be. I feel so bad I lost contact with her, I would have followed on caringbridge if I had known. Now it's too late, that sweet angel is gone. I am heartbroken.

I just looked through the photos, and now I realise who Ryan is. I'm gutted. And like everyone else, I had no idea. It's so, so sad. Thanks for letting us know Amy, but what horrible news to have to read.

My dear friends,

Somehow I just came across this post. Even though I have posted here since Ryan's death, I had not seen this trail. I am so grateful to all of you for your heartfelt messages here. I am grateful to Amy for posting our picture and directing others to our carepage.

We miss Ryan so much. Today is the 2-month anniversary of his death. It is still so shocking.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Love,
Lauren
