There are lots of books and recommendations out there about book on Ds. I'm wondering if any of you have recommendtions of childrens' books about adoption. We were looking at Micah's baby book today, and he pointed to his birth mom and asked "What's that?" (his version of 'who's that'). I didn't know what to say. I just told him "That's Laura, your birthmom." I was just glad he did ask more or look at me with confused eyes, because I didn't know what else to say. Shame on me! We've never kept their adoption a secret, but I've never intentionally talked to them about it either. I guess it's time.
