Hi my name is Christina, and I come from New Jersey and im 18 years old. My baby sister has downsyndrome, my mom didn't know until she was born...she has promblems with her heart but the doctors said it's not that bad..Her name is Erika and i love her with all my heart she is so loveable she has a smile on her face all the time ..she loves to be played with..she is only 6 months old and she is my angel..im doing this profile because i will like to chat with people who know a little bit more about babies with downs..my mom will love to chat with people also just to get a little idea how its gonna be when she gets a little older..everybody says it's gonna be hard. IS IT? I will love to chat...!!!!

Christina, when my son was 6 months old, I didn't think it could get any better, but when he turned 1, I thought the same thing. He is now 3 1/2 and it just keeps getting better every day. Your sister is so lucky to have you! Vonda
