I had not really considered the convention but mentioned it the other night to my hubby and he said why not? I am seriously considering it now. I am a big chicken and am trying to talk a friend or two into going with me from our local support group(I hate to travel alone) I guess I am trying to figure out how costly this would really be. I know I need my plane ticket and the cost of the convention-no idea how much- and hotel and food. Am I missing any major expenses? I have never done this convention and am not quite sure what to expect.

The family rate for the last convention was $150 for members and $180 for non-members.

Courtney's case worker said that her waiver will pay for us to go......so now our only issue will be if I am in school and what I will have going on at that time. I hope nothing!
