Hello,
do you play computer with you little ones 3+ and if yes, how did you teach them to use a computer mouse?
Drowning in snow on a 6th of march, very unusual for our region

Awe.. my boy just started playing on the computer/web and he loves it. I taught him to use the mouse by turning the mouse to the left about 40% so that his pointer finger was on the left clicker and then the other three were on the body of the mouse. This way the right clicker is out of finger reach.
It worked for Nate, but took a bit to get familiar with. Hope this helps!

I first started Angela on a track ball. (her's was called an "EasyBall", I know Crayola makes one similar to it.) It's large...the ball of the mouse fits under her whole palm. Also, it was difficult for her to islote movements to click a regular mouse, but with a trackball it's a whole hand movement, and the move their hand off the ball so it doesn't accidently move while they're trying to click.
When she was about 6 or so she moved to a regular mouse.
