Just wanted to put this where everyone would see it. We have the jogging stroller. It has 3 wheels. I will never buy a 3 wheeled one again. Briar likes to hang over the side and he has made the stoller fall over. 2 times on concrete and once at a pond bank. They are kind of dangerous. Not good on sloped areas.

Just thought I would let you guys know

Thanks for the warning. We've decided to get the stroller that is like a big umbrella stroller due to its weight - but had been considering the jogging one. Jackson likes to hang out and look around too, hadn't thought of it tipping over,so glad we decided on the other one!

thanks for the warning, we have been looking at one of those.... maybe we will look for something else...

For Jackson's mom did you have to pay for the stroller you got? Just wondering how much one of those big umbrellas would cost us... Megan

Megan, we haven't gotten the stroller yet. We are trying to get it from his waiver program, his PT is writing a letter to submit and if they approve then it will be paid for. If that doesn't work we'll check other options, but if it comes down to it we'll pay for it ourselves. As far as cost goes, they are spendy! One catalog I saw had it at $569, but I also found it online for $374.00.

Medical Assistance paid for ours, as it's classified as a wheelchair. Ours was $650 I think.

We got the Maclaren Special Needs stroller. It's a bit pricey but we love it. It's solidly made so it lasts forever and it can hold up to 120 lbs.

If the insurance denies you DO NOT give up... we have had to FIGHT for every little thing we have gotten our kids... keep calling and bugging the medical company, and if you get denied resubmit!! They WILL have to pay for it... I hate that it can take soooooo long though. Good luck, Megan

what do they call the bigger strollers for older children? And do they make any double bigger strollers and If so do you think they would sell any used ones on e-bay?
