WOW!!! What a very special milestone!! I hope you enjoy wearing it more than I did at your age. I was such a late bloomer, though that the only reason I wore a bra was because one day in 7th grade a boy came to snap my bra, and there was nothing there. I got teased so bad because I didn't have any boobs.

ROFLMAO I was the SAME WAY! LOL
Angela has had lots of "development" going on in other areas for quite some time. When she was 8 I took her to the pediatrician, pointed out some hair growth and said, "Make THAT stop!!!" I was convinved she had precocious puberty. LOL She doesn't have a lot of hair, but what she does have...well...lets just say she comes from dark german blood.
And the chest development? I have no clue if this is normal or not (because I've not had girls before. Maybe Amy will post from Renee's house if she gets a chance) But, when looking at her with clothe on, sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not. I was told there would be hard bumps in the beginning. Well, I wasn't about to feel up my kid. But the other day I was helping her get out of the truck, standing behind her with my hands under her arms, and my fingers were on her chest....and...OMG...there were those bumps! Really, honestly...there are not many things that freak me out, but THIS DOES!
So we went and got the "bralettes". They are the cutes things! We talked about how these are a "secret", and very "private things", and that they're not for anyone to see. (cuz 5 minutes before she was lifting her shirt in the middle of Target!) She came home, grabbed that bag, and went to her room with them. When Dean asked where she was going she said, "Shhhh! It's pwivit!" She shoved the bag in her room and closed the door. When she came and sat down with us she said, "Dean....shh....it's a secret. A BRA!"

Leah,
As you know, Sally and Angela are exactly the same age. We have the bralettes too. And she just started wearing deodorant!

I bet she felt like such a big girl getting her new bra. That is a very big milestone. I remember looking forward to wearing a bra and then hated wearing one after I got some boobs.
That is so cute also about her telling it is a secret.
Jake and I were just talking about this stuff the other day, Paige will just be 8 but I know it is all going to come up fast.

I just bought Becca bras a couple months ago. She has little itty bitty nubs. They are big enough to see if wearing something a little tight. I thought it was sad and exciting buying them. I had this vision of her and I going out together to buy them and having it be so special. We bought them spur of the moment and her brothers helped her pick them out. Not the way I planned but special in its own way.
Today I bought her some American Girl deodorant. She asked for it the other day and said all her friends wear it. I wasn't going to buy it, but I figured this way she will have it and maybe start taking a little more interest in hygiene. Sometimes she acts like she couldn't care less about cleanliness and other times I can't get her out of the shower. She really confuses me. Boys are so much easier--at least so far.
