I have been really lazy about working with Kennedy on drinking from an open cup. But today the kids had milk and cookies and I decided tha she would get a big girl cup too. OMG, she drank right out of it with barely a mess and when she was done, she wuld say "more" and hand me the cup. I couldn't believe it!
Also the other day she grabbed one of the kids juice bags. I have also been very lazy about straw drinking, I know, Bad Mommy! She drank right from the straw immediately. And then clapped and "yeahed" for herself. My girl is growing up! Sigh.....

I've also been lazy about teaching Daniel how to drink from a cup or straw :cry, it would be awesome if he would just teach himself like Kennedy Very Happy

Woo Hoo! That is my girl! I have been thinking of you guys alot lately and really need to catch up through email, esp since our girls are turning 3 and getting SOOOOO big!

Woo Hoo!! That's so great! Darah surprised us yesterday and drank 4 oz of her milk with an open cup (Mommy holding the cup of course!!). yeah for Kennedy!!!

I'm with ya, Beth! We did the straw thing early on, but I have been very lazy about cup drinking, too! I've started trying a little more lately, but she hasn't enthusiastically taken to it the way it sounds Kennedy has! Congrats, big girl!!
