Last night Karli had been scooting on her bottom like she always does and tipped over and ended up on her back. It's almost like slow motion to watch. She was happily laying on her back "reading" one of her books to me and telling me the most wonderful story Smile

. I look away to try to fix our slower than molasses computer and I look back a minute later and she's sitting up! I had to do a triple take to make sure. I have no clue how she got there, but I was so excited! I even made her fall back down (very gently of course) just to see if she'd do it again. Of course not, but I'm going to be watching her like a hawk tonight. I'm dying to see her do it. We've been working very hard on this. She refuses to crawl, so I at least want her to be able to sit herself back up when she falls over. She's also starting to try to pull to standing so we're working on that as well. We just talked to her service coordinator and will be starting PT soon. I'm hoping Karli will take off once we get that going. I'll try to get some pictures of her once I'm finally able to catch her in the act!

Oh, she got her 3rd tooth in the other night too! Woohoo for more teeth!

Kennedy did the same thing when she transitioned to sitting, I walked in and she was sitting but she would not let me see. And the next day she just did it over and over and over.
We are so proud of you Karli. Your hard work paid off!

way to go Karli! showing off even while you're sick. it's funny how they do this while no one is watching. Janna did the same thing at first. and YAY for more teeth. hope she is feeling better from the Strep, aj

How great! Mary did the same thing when she started going from the floor to sitting. I didn't catch her in the act until after she had done it half a dozen times with out me seeing. I am glad she is doing so well and I hope she is feeling better. Keep it up cutie pie!
