Well, it certainly has been a long time. Alysa is now 3 1/2 years old. Started school in March. Went for 3 months, had summer vacation and went back to school on August 23rd.
She is potty trained, thank goodness no more diapers. She still has accidents, but 85% of the time she is dry. She is 35 pounds and growing like a weed.
She is in gymnastics and took swimming lessons over the summer. She is a fish.
She is speaking much better now. It is so exciting when she speaks to someone and they actually understand what she is saying. She still has some jibberish, but that is getting better.
She can count to "3" and knows "red, blue and yellow." She even knows a circle and square. The triangle is a little harder.
She can jump up and down, run, ride a tricycle, slide down a slide, swing, kick and throw a ball, I could go on for days.

We are going on a Buddy Walk on September 16th in Reno, NV. Chris Burke (Corky from Life Goes On) will be there with his band. Anyone who lives near by is invited to join us.

I will be trying to catch up on everyone's children, and I'll probably pop in every now and then. I started my own business, I take care of disabled children (DS, Autism, physical disabilities) and it takes a lot of my time. But, Alysa and Heather get to spend more time with mom now.

Tracy,

Nat is growing so fast! Alysa has a similar outfit, the red shirt and checked shorts. I have to thank the Early Education Teacher. I told her in march that I wanted to get Alysa pottied trained, and she and her aide helped a lot. We seem to have a great program here. But just up the way in Washoe Co. (1 hour away) their program isn't near as good. Good luck with Nat.

Ellen, your team sounds fabulous! I wish we had that kind of support here. Her team is like me and dad at home, and teachers as school but I don't feel the whole "work as a team, succeed as a team" theme going on. we're literally on our own to teach her while she's home and they teach her while she's there. If we weren't opening this flea market I'd move! LOL. (My dh would croak if he saw that!) LOL
