We talk about our kids, dogs and hubbies. Last night I was going thru photo's for Larkin's sign book and came across our wedding picture. I was thinking how cool it would be to see everyone's from this board. If you have been together for 20 years you are NOT allowed to erase your hair or hide the dress! Smile

Post a picture of you and your significant other!

I'll go first since I have to. This was 4 years ago and one of the best days of my life! It made me cry because those two people have changed so very much....mostly for the better.

Oh Lord, I cannot imagine posting a photo from 15 years ago. I have changed so much mentally, emtionally and most of all physically. ANd we eloped so we threw on what clothing we had and went to the justice of the peace. I would need to figure out how to scan and post.
I think this is a GREAT idea though. I will see what Ican come up with. Maybe we should post a photo of our wedding and a recent pic. What do you think????

Post away girlfriend. I thought of YOU and Renee and that good lookin soldier man of hers and also Tom's. Leah better post too! Kayla needs to do it as well.

We have all changed from that day and I was just so emotional when I remembered our hopes, dreams and how happy we were/are. Things change and dreams adapt to what we are given. *sigh* and we realize it's still - all good.

Ok, so it wasn't 20 years ago , it was ten. Laugh away... I have been in love with Paul since I was 17. There are days that we get frustrated with the day in, day out crap but through it all I would not change a thing. We nit pick and complain and then one of us will say something and we just laugh our butts off like maniacs and I remember all the reasons why I love him so much.

OMG I AM DYING LAUGHING and so enjoying this!!!

Everyone looks beatuiful and so in love!!

I look at pictures of myself 10 years ago and I know that IDOT (Illinois department of transportation) uses my eyeliner and eyeshadow for road marker!

Jay and I started dating in 97 and got married in 2004. We had two weddings one in our backyard and one on the beach in Puerto Vallarta.

Brock's arrival was almost 9 months to the day of our second wedding. (he was two weeks early!)

Oh my gosh, I love this thread. These pictures are adorable. Wow, people do change don't they. Okay, I wish I could do this thread, except, my scanner is broken, and I am not kidding. Maybe I could find someone near me, (hint hint Courtney) to scan it for me, and help me put it on. Although, our picture may break her scanner. Not my husband, he was so young and dapper that day, but I have to admit, 17 years ago, I am not so sure I was quite the dream bride you all were. LOL

This thread is kind of making me tear up!! I have our wedding picture on a wall in our living room and I just looked at it a few weeks ago and realized how 'innocent' we were. Innocent to life, kids, careers etc. I was just out of college and our lives were in front of us. It's kind of weird to look at my 'younger' self. I believe the best is yet to come since we know have kids and they are the best part of life....but somewhere inside me on my wedding day was my angel Daniel.....I just didn't know it!!

I've been married 13 years and together for 15.....we were babies!! I was 23 years old. We don't have a scanner, so I can't play in the fun...but you 80's gals can imagine the gown with 100 pounds of beading and sequins and BIG BIG puffy sleeves and don't even get me started on my hair!! LOL!!!!!

I'll see if one of my neighbors has one and I'll post some old ones!!

I don't have a scanner that works, but I couldn't resist telling you all that I am one week shy of my 20th anniversary. I knew Steve for 4 years before we got married. We met the first week in Property class in law school. We all had to sit in alphabetical order, and since my name started with a c and his with an l, he sat behind me and saw me first. Our first date was at a Halloween party. Man, how time flies.

That is a good idea, but I think I have a scanner located. And girl you better not leave Shreveport without me getting to meet you! Hopefully lunch on Friday.

and Amy..this was 23 years ago. Rusty and I started dating in high school. I was 16, he was 18. We married in 1983. So we've been together 28 years. And we are still crazy about each other. I don't have a recent pic of the two of us....Well I'll have to go look around.

Those are great pics!!!! Everyones are great. You know what is sad. My husband and I went to the courthouse and I dont have one pic of us getting married. We were both in jeans and he just got off work and I had been at home sick with a cold and he walked in the house and said get up lets go get married so we did. We had been living together for about 3 mths and were planning a wedding but couldnt get our schedules right and I was getting a little upset thinking it would never happen so it was a big suprise when he came home early and did that.

You sound like us when we got married. We were planning a wedding, Rod lost his job, my car broke downand we had no money. The marriage license was expiring the next day so we called the Justice of the Peace, who happened to be holding a meeting, and he told us to come right over. We changed and drove over. 2 Men from the meeting were our witnesses. LOL! The whole thing lasted 2 minutes. We went to Perkins for our wedding dinner, couldn't afford anywhere else. And then we went to local bar we used to frequent, told them we just got married and they gave us a drink on the house. LOL! Oh, the memories!!!

Here's ours. It's scanned in, so not the greatest quality. We met over 12 years ago and have been married almost 4 1/2. We haven't changed all that much. This has been a lot of fun seeing everyone's pictures. I love looking back and thinking of all the wonderful memories of that day.
