Okay I admit I am one of those lurkers I have enjoyed reading about and seeing all of your children and finally I have completed my profile. (with help from one of my kids !) My name is Cindy and I am proud mommy to Amanda, Kelli and Mason. God thought it would be funny to give me a baby at 39 Confused

and then on top of that a special angel with DS. I did find out about Mason having DS in about my 17th week through an amnio. I felt like I needed to know for sure so I could prepare for this little guy. Well the results came back and it was positive my baby was going to be born with DS. Honestly I felt like I wanted to run and run until I couldn't run anymore (I guess thinking it would go away). My first thought was how can this be I have 2 beautiful daughters how is it possible, well I found out after a lot of reading that it was possible. Well Mason was born June 14, 2004 and we have never looked back or have had any regrets. He has changed many lives in his little life, not just mine and my husbands and sisters but his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins as well.
I am very honored that God chose me to be his mommy !!!

Welcome Welcome! God also gave us a surprise. We were stopping at 2 babies, you know, the perfect family, a little boy and girl. And then SURPRISE , a pregnancy when my youngest was 5 months old. And an even bigger surprise when Kennedy was diagnosed with DS. We also have no regrets. She is the MOST amazing thing on Earth!
Cannot wait to hear more about you. And your family is GORGEOUS!!!!

Welcome!! God does know better... We also were done having children when........ along came our beautiful little Sadie. She is the light of our lifes and I couldn't imagine life without her. Makes me want another- LOL Mason and Sadie are only 3 days apart Very Happy

Welcome, Cindy. If you thought it funny to be pregnant at 39, imagine my hilarity to find myself pregnant (for the first time as my oldest two were adopted) at 43. Life is funny sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Glad you joined us.
