I was on the news! I'm stupid too, I'll go ahead and admit.

I know this is hokey, but I'm gonna confess, and then I'll tell a cool story. Our Chick Fil a had their grand opening today. The first hundred gets 52 vouchers for a free chicken value meal. Here's the catch, by 8 p.m. last night there were already about 120. Guess what number I was? #25. I slept out in a tent all night to get those vouchers!!! They had games, food, and contests. Now here is the cool part. If you go on wwwkait8.com news out of Jonesboro you might see him. His name is Freddie Green. He was very friendly and went around talking to everyone. He was a little slow in speech, but seemed so friendly. Most people just kinda nodded and smiled at him. Well last night they had a dance contest. OMG he tore it up. The man CAN DANCE. He was all over doing cartwheels and stuff I ain't never been able to do, even in my younger days. I have never laughed and cheered so hard. Everyone was screaming FREEDIE!!!! It wasn't just him being cute. Anyway, they don't have the thing of him dancing on there, and while I was on the news, the clip isn't on the site. Go take a peek at Freedie. And if you don't mind, say a prayer for him. I have no way of thinking that he might be in need of prayers. Somehow God just put the the thought in my heart. Freedie made me laugh and smile like I haven't in years. If you could pray that awesome and wonderful things happen to him, I would be sooo grateful. I loved seeing the surprised looks on everyone's face. He was beaming. Oh, and the tent beside me belonged to some frat boys who sang boys to men, did the electric slide, and argued all night about who was better Al Green or Luther Vandross. I tried to leave that one alone, but after a half an hour I had to put it straight. I played Luther at my wedding, but Al Green is the man. Oh and the girl in the spot in front of me had this shirt that said, "will flash for beer". I had the time of my life. The boss took off from work today(but surprised us by showing up) and I didn't come in till 11. I got in trouble, but two of my co workers went too! It was so fun!

My hubby went and used one of my vouchers today. I guess I'll be eating Chick fil a for the next year! My sister is donating hers to muscular dystrophy for a fundraiser. I'll probably give most of mine too. The senior baskets will be coming up too(for Christmas). Maybe I can donate some of those for people's baskets.

Ok, you are a riot! I would have loved to have been there with you. I love a good time, and I don't care where it is! Nothing ever happens here either! Hope you really, really like chicken! The donating thing sounds cool!
