Last night we went to a Holiday Show and came across a booth for Just Me Music. It was really cool! They sell interactive CDs (music and talking) with Veggie Tales, the Wiggles, Barney (and coming soon....Elmo) and they put your child's name into the songs and dialogue. I was skeptical and thought it would sound really hokey, but it was great! Sam loved it! We bought him the Veggie Tales and pre-ordered Elmo. The Wiggles seemed to have more speaking than singing. Oh, and if they don't have the exact spelling of your child's name, but have a name that sounds the same (e.g., Allyson and Alison) you can modify the spelling (for the CD cover). They are a bit pricey, but I know that Sam will listen to them for a long time!

Oops, forgot to say that the actual actors voices are used, so it sounds perfect!

Sammy loves Elmo too! Although I don't see a mention of it on the site, I'm sure if you contacted them you could pre-order an Elmo CD. We were told they would ship in mid-to-late November...in plenty of time for Christmas.
