Kennedy has become so much more verbal since starting school a few short weeks ago.
I received her September Progress Report from her Speech Therapist today. And apparently Kennedy is using 2-3 word sentences in school. And sometimes 4! Hellllooooo??? I am so proud of her, I cannot even stand it! But............what's the deal? Why at school and rarely at home?Either way, I am thrilled at her progress thus far! This child never ceases to amaze me!

That's AWESOME! WTG Kennedy! Don't you hate how kids "perform" for others? hahaha I used to see it all the time as a teacher. The parents would always say "He/she won't do that for me" yet it was normal for school. I am not looking forward to being on the other end of that. Rolling Eyes

Tell Kennedy that her downsyn family is SO proud of her!

Awesome! Good girl! I agree with Eli - at home she just falls into the 'home habit'. But when she is at school - no mom, no sibs, just other kids all talking to get what they want and if she wants to get in on it, she has to TALK! Very Happy

Cecilie also speaks a lot more since she started Kindergarten in August, but she speaks at home and not ( well, less) in Kindergarten.

Oh that's really good news, WTG Kennedy. School will bring out so much, Bryan started last April and I am gobsmacked at how he is trying to walk just like the other kids, there's more motivation. Believe me no matter how much positive reinforcement I used to try too help his development, Bryan pulled the strings, he's so laid back " in my own time mum!" Sorry doing a me me ! Rolling Eyes

Isn't it buzzing when they string those words together, congratulations. Very Happy
