Laughing Out Loud

I just had to say that my little 3mth old with DS has just smiled and laughed out loud for me this week. It was a very special moment.

I am so happy for you! I remember when I had Sadie and several people from church had babies within 6 weeks. Even the younger babies were smiling and Sadie wasn't. I was crushed. Then one night, in the middle of the night, I was having a really hard time about it and all of the sudden she looked right at me and smiled. I felt like that was a little treat Heavenly Father gave me to show me hope. That was just the beginning!! Enjoy Jirah.. there are many more smiles where that came from Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

One smile and you feel like you can do anything it takes for that little one. Congratulations on yours.

How wonderful!! There is nothing like hearing that little cackle for the first time. It somehow gives the reassurance that everything really is going to be OK. Now you'll be able to spend hours and hours just trying to find out what Jirah finds amusing!

By the way I love the name! I noticed this is your first post. A big welcome to you. We'd love to hear more about your family and little Jirah.
