Well, I hope he feels better. I wouldn't really say that the doctors didn't know anything if they sent him home with antibiotics. Sometimes I will take Kallie in and the doctor will say it's just a cold and a day or two later it's a full blown sinus infection. It just matters where she was at in her cold. Hope he feels better.

It is so scary when they get that sick. I often get frustrated with doctors because I feel they don't investigate carefully enough. Hope he is feeling much better really soon.

You might want to follow up with your Dr. tomorrow. There are a lot of viruses that my kids have gotten that an antibiotic will not fix. They simply have to run the course. Our kids get enough antibiotics already so if they don't need it you don't want to give it to them. When we have taken Carson with a high fever before they had no idea what was wrong but decided because he had DS he had an ear infection and put him on something. The ped. the next day said he didn't have it and took him off. He got well without it. That is so scarry when they get that way.
