My Boys

Well a couple of months ago I got a call from an agency that is looking for kids with disabilites for photo shoots. So they asked if I could send them a picture so when a company needs a child they have all the stuff. So I got a call yesterday that they had a photo shoot in NYC for Toys'r'Us & if we could come in. I wasn't to sure but decided to go.

They had a change of clothes for him & then he sat in one of those big toy cars they drive. The photographer just kept snapping & the one woman was entertaining him to laugh. He is such a ham & had to give everyone hugs. Then he got out & they took some more. Depending on if they like the pictures she said he would be in it in about 6-8 weeks. I guess the Sunday paper. So we will see what happens & we get paid. Not sure how much that will be. It was an experience if nothing else happens.

Wow, how cool is that? I am not really suprised though because Kyle is such a cutie pie! If he gets picked we are all going to have to see the ad.

Michelle! That is AWESOME! But HELLO! He's supposed to get PAID to do that stuff! Was this the actual shoot, or was this a casting shoot? If it's the actual shoot, they would have had all sorts of paperwork and stuff you'd have to fill out in order for him to get paid, etc. $50-$100 an hour is a typical rate.

We had to fill out papers & sign stuff, they are going to send a check. I just didn't have his SS# on me. Hopefully they will pick him, we shall see.

Man, what a week! First he's in the paper, now a catalog! And I'll be able to say that I knew him BEFORE his was big and famous!!
