Artie uses the index finger ONLY on the bottle and when he touches something....and uses the finger and thumb to pick something up. Does anyone recognize this behavior and will he out grow it?

Also he reaches out with his foot! If Grandma comes in instead of holding out his hand he holds out that foot and grins!!

Is this typical of Ds or do I have a little character here?

I don't know about how he uses his hands, but i will tell you that our guy uses his feet a lot. He uses his toes and feet to pick up toys and pass them between his hands. It's pretty cute.

By the sound of it it's just the way Artie likes to work at the moment.

Percy was very big on using her finger and thumb to manipulate things. She was (and is) still very dexterous with small objects. But she does now use her whole hand for the larger things in life!
