Hi all,
Anyone have experience with the Tomatis program for Listening Skills. It is supposed to have great results with speech. Just wondering if anyone has any personal feedback for us!

Thanks

I do not have personal experiences with Tomatis, but here in central Europe people go to Tomatis centers and as usual, there are children, where Tomatis helped a lot and other children, who did not respond to that therapy. As far as I understood it seems to depend a lot, if the hearing units are performed with force on the child or not.

I was actually wondering if we should try Tomatis with Cecilie, as her hearing skills are very poor compared to reading and understanding skills. She compensates very well with reading.

Thanks. Nathanael's listening seems to be quite fine, other than the typical subjective listening that most children have - no physical hearing loss. However his speech is SIGNIFICANTLY delayed and we were exploring this as an option to possibly jumpstart that.
