I'm new and I have 3 boys. Galon, my middle child has DS. He just turned 4 and still not interested in potty training. Wondering on other experiences or advice. Thanks!

Hi and welcome! You're in the right place for advice and information!

My son Benedict is 5 and is still not potty trained, which causes me a lot more stress than it does him!!! He knows when he has done a "wee" or a "poo" in his nappy (daiper) and in the house when he doesn't wear a nappy he will sometimes tell me if he wants to go to the toilet, but he will often watch as a big stream comes out and then tell me to look!!!

I plan the next time I have a week off work, I will do everything I can to get him trained....although I haven't yet planned my strategy!! If he is not in the right mood, as soon as I get him into the bathroom he either does that "rubber boy" thing where they go all bendy and won't let you hold them, or he says "no no no" and runs straight out again!

There have been a few different posts about this issue so if you click "search" at the top you'll be able to find them. But if anyone has any more advice I'll also be ready to try anything!!

Looking forward to seeing a photo of Galon!

My daughter will be 4 the end of January. She goes on the potty, which is good! But we are still a long way off from being 'trained'! She typically doesn't tell me when she has to go. So, for us, it's trying to find a way to bump it to the next level. I don't have any answers. We're all in this together! Very Happy

Btw, you should give us an official introduction in the Introduction Forum and let everyone properly welcome you!!!
