Hi everyone. I’m sure a lot of you are familiar with Kim Edward’s book the Memory Keeper’s Daughter. This story has been a great source of support and inspiration to me, and I wanted to share with everyone that there is a movie version that will be on TV this Sunday at 9 on Lifetime. It looks beautiful and I think it will do the book justice.

I really liked it. I dont have the Lifetime channel so I made special arrangements to go and visit the inlaws Sunday night for dinner and a movie... I loved it. I thought it was really close to the book and I LOVED the ending!!!!

I read the book before I saw the movie. The book had much more detail, but I didn't think all of it was necessary to the story line. The movie was great and I cried so much at the end! Good tears. The children who played Phoebe were outstanding! A couple of months after I saw the movie, I had an opportunity to see the last 30 mins. of it again, and I cried all over again.....even knowing what was coming. The movie is a real testamony to love.

I don't think the movie has been released over here.
I enjoyed the book soley because the pivitol character has ds and that's pretty rare in any fiction.
I honestly didn't love it, it just felt a little predictable to me...sorry, I know alot of you love this one, but the author could have done so much more with the the characters, especially the father.

I'll have to grab this book next.
Don't think I can watch the movie, I have a strict "NO LIFETIME SHOWS" policy.

My SIL just gave me this book on audio CD for Christmas. She is also reading it so we can discuss it as we go. I am just at the very beginning so it is a bit distressing but it's good to hear it gets happier!!!
