I'm a member of another (Norwegian) board for parents of kids with various disabilities.
One of the mothers on that board just lost her 3 year old daughter this morning. This little girl had no known cause for her condition. She struggled with catastrophical epilepsy (even tried that vagus thing with no effect...) and severe mental retardation as well as a number of other medical issues. She has fought death for 3 years and suffered more during that time than most people do in a lifetime.
She passed silently in the arms of her mommy and daddy and leaves behind a brother and two sisters.

For those of you who pray, please say a prayer for this family tonight, as they struggle to face life without their little girl - and to adapt to every day life after everything that they have been through.
For those of you who don't - please send a thought, a vibe or just light a candle for this family tonight.

I know Renee says Cancer Sucks.
Well, epilepsy Sucks too....

Crying or Very sad

It is so hard to loose a child. Praying that the Lord comforts this family.

Solveig:

I am so sorry to hear about this other family's daughter. It sounds like she may have suffered from static epilepsy. I will keep them in my prayers.
