I'm not overly religious, but I do have faith none the less. I would really appreciate any prayers to help me cope with my son having down syndrome and just other stress in life. I'm not doing so well, mentally that is. I don't know if I'm depressed, but I suspect I am. Please pray for me. I don't have the strength anymore to pray for myself.

There is no such thing as petty when it comes to prayer.
Lord Jesus, hold this young mother close to you. Give her strength when she is weak, hope when she feels despair, joy when there there is sorrow, peace when there is aggitation. Lord, you are the Prince of Peace...hold her close.

You are most certainly in my thoughts and prayers. I am also sending you hugs to find strength in this time.
If you need to talk, cry, laugh, or shout, I know this site is here for you. I too had a very difficult time in learning of the diagnosis along with post-partum. I pray you find relief and peace. HUGS.

There have been plenty of times I haven't been able to pray anymore but was lifted by the prayers of people on this site. Know that there will be many people praying for you.

We're praying for you too. Have you talked to your doctor about your suspicions about depression?

I have been in those states where I thought there was no sense in God hearing from me. However, I think those are the times we need to reach out the most. I will pray for you!
