As if life wasn't difficult enough with my husband laid off and our business super slow. But today, just when I thought things were as bad as they could get.....my husband calls me at work to says his truck won't start.

I wasn't TOO worried......and I guess that is when I should have started to worry......cause he called back a little while later to say "The crank shaft is gone...I need a new engine".

So, just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.....it did. Can't wait for tomorrow to see if I spontenously combust.

Please remember us in your prayers. We sure do need some. Don't know where the $$ will come from.....don't know how much longer we can hang on.

Will be praying for you. We have been there, lost a lot, it’s so hard, things do seem to turn around eventually.
I seen on the O show that Americans are letting rooms out in their house. One family had a mother and daughter staying with them. It was working really well. Could that be an option for you? There should be information on her site. Some group connect people and seem to do well with matching family’s up.

So many people living in tents over your way it’s scary not that we dont have people living in tents here. I know we do and we have homeless people to. It’s scary times.

Oh Lisa, I am so sorry. A few years ago my transmission went out and it was a pure miracle getting it fixed. I know you are really having a tough time of things, but God will see you through. I will be praying hard for you. Have you done St Jude's Novena. My friend is Catholic and swears by it.

I'm so sorry your having a rough time! I can so relate as were going through the same thing right now - times are super tough! In fact this AM when I turned the water on to start my shower I heard this awful noise coming through the pipes, and what do I do? Pretend I don't hear it, get ready, and go to work! Praying I don't hear it again! Hang in there, keeping you in my prayers!

Praying that things turn around for you guys. We have been through some very hard times - lost our house, lived in a tent .... long story but I know that God looked after us. He is our provider. Look to him and ask, he will work it out.

I'd say cautiously optimistic!! Truck is fixed...business improving but it's just this economy in general that is just so tough. Business was good in Sept...but it needs to continue!!
