Our OT is in the hospital with what is presumed to be H1N1. She is currently on 7 liters of O2 and her sats are still terrible. I'm really, really worried about her.... If you have a moment, please say some prayers for her as she is a wonderful person and a great OT, not to mention, Jacey loves her... Thanks...

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I talked with my friend this morning and thankfully, she is doing much better. She is down to only 1L of O2 and is hoping to be off that soon. She told me she was very scared and even told her daughter where her life insurance policy was... She is not a dramatic person, so I know it must have been bad.... Things are looking up though...
My next question is.... has Jacey or any of us been exposed?? Does anyone know the incubation period for H1N1?? So far we are not sick... knock on wood...

I just heard yesterday that the incubation period is 48 hours... sounds quick but seems right considering our household. It lives in the nose and mouth so the best precaution is to swab everyone's nose with salt water and garggle with some. Even though the incubation period is short, the flu itself is long! Good luck and glad to hear the good news about your OT!
