Is there a company that sells personalized iron on labels to put on clothes? I was thinking some of you who send your kids to camp might know. I label her outerwear and her "extra" clothes with a sharpie pen, but her school seems to lose the clothes that I send her in about once a month, so now I'm thinking I need to label everything she wears!

I just need to label her clothes so the school doesn't lose them in the wash. Her classroom has a washer/dryer so when the kids have accidents they wash their clothes for them. Problem is, that they keep forgetting to return hers! I can't imagine it would be too hard to figure out which clothes are hers since she is the tiniest by far and the the only girl in her class!

Wow. I'd just say, "I really appreciate that you're washing her clothes, but could you just put them in a bag and send them home? I can't afford to keep replacing clothes."

Found these:
http://www.prontolabels.com/
I know I've seen something similar at Michaels or one of the craft/fabric stores too.
How frustrating to lose clothes!!

I ordered a stamp with ink that didn't wash out that I stamped all my son's clothes for sleepaway camp. Got it off the internet and it was pretty cheap and easier than sewing in labels.

I use Mabel's Labels (search on internet) and they have these sticker tags that don't wash off for a long time. Eliza kept coming home with clothes that were not labeled and not hers. I returned them and they told me she likes to go to the lost and found and pick out clothes and say they are hers:-)

Ecki - don't buy anything yet!
I started noodling around the links I sent you and decided to go out on a limb and ask Oliver's Labels for a giveaway, and not only did they say yes, but they are also going to offer able2able readers a 10% discount code. I'll publish the post Friday. Thanks for the inspiration! I picked them because they have the free Found-Out number - if somebody finds a clothing item and contacts them with the number they will let you know that it's been found.

at our preschool we send home dirty clothes in a bag. I do need some labels. My son had a beautiful green fuzzy coat that he loved. It came up missing thanks to his aid she found it and sent it home. It was dirty and had a big hole in it. I have started writing his name on everything now. His clothes are too expensive to get lost or whatever. I have to alter all pants and a coat that he will actually wear is hard to find.
