This is a hard update to share.... we were not chosen. It was just shared that there were some complicated issues. The baby is great and mom will have an open adoption so all in all, prayers were answered and we will give praise in all circumstances even though it was not us.....

Linmac: I will sit down tomorrow and give an update on our son.... I will post in the bottom forum above the garage sale... the name escapes me at the moment...... thank you for reminding me that I never got back here to post an update on him.... I humbly apologize to you and everyone....

We have been blessed with adoption twice. Our little girl has mosaic ds, and her heritage is Hispanic. She has always wanted a "baby sister, just like her".... we had lovingly shared with her that it was up to the Lord and that if He had a sister for her, He would bring her. We then adopted Isaiah who just turned 18 months. He came to us straight from the hospital nursery. Things with this little one has just been falling into place over the past few months.... but still we didn't know.... we made ourselves available to the family and gave space. We found out that the baby was born via a mutual friend.... it's a little girl and her heritage is Hispanic. We have not told Nicole about her or meeting her last evening because we don't want to get her hopes up. Today is when mom is making some really tough decisions for the best for her baby. It would be an open adoption which we are totally fine with.... we just want God's will and not our own..... we haven't heard anything yet and I'm going to be on pins and needles until we find out the final decision....

Your ability to trust is so strong.

I know you dont' post that much...but I often wonder how your other son is doing?
The one who got injured last year?
