Checked FAQ and did a search for help, but couldn't find anything. How do I copy what someone said in a post and then have it look like this in my reply:
so-and-so said:
and then what they said is highlighted here.
I hope this makes sense. I have been trying to figure this out for a while now, but can't do it.
Thanks

In the corner of my post you'll see a box that says quote, click on that. Then I usually delete out the bits of their quote that you dont want and keep the sentance that you do want. I hope I explained that ok. Maybe someone else will have an easier way to do it.

Thanks so much, Karen - I feel kind of silly - I never payed any attention to that side of the posts. But I am so happy to know how to do it now - yeah!

I've been on this forum for 4 years and didn't know you were supposed to delete what you didn't want. Thanks for the question!

There's another way to do it too. You can copy the text you want and then paste it into you reply. Then select the text you just copied so that it is all highlighted and then click the "Quote" button just above. That will surround the text with quote tags.
