I've raised my daughter in a teeny rural town. I've never known where she was in relation to other children with DS or what was normal DS behavior and what might not be. Except, of course, what I've gleaned from reading. I would like to read some posts on what other children with DS are like in their teen years especially with regard to any challenges or concerns their parents experience with regard to behaviors, the future, transition, etc. Maybe this site has categories for age groups of their kids, but I haven't found them. Thanks.

There are no categories by age here, and most of the families here have younger children. Maybe someone will have some input for you. I hope you get some responses. I am interested in what lies ahead as well as the here and now.

I'd suggest the message boards at ndss.org - there's a wider variety there, including Down Syndrome individuals that post. I'm sure there are others.
