We are looking forward to it. My husband and I will be there with Wil while big brother Luke stays with is Nonnie and Papa in SC.
I have been to that hotel before for another conference. Very nice and a great section of Atlanta.

Question for you who've been before, what do you do with the kids while the sessions are going on? Did you take an extra adult with you to babysit? did you and your other half take turns going to the sessions? Did you leave the kids at home?

Depends on the age. The first couple of times we brought Mikey to the sessions in the stroller and he was fine. later, one of us stayed with the children while the other went to the sessions. Last time we left the kids with Michel's sister.

Last year I left Kass and Kam with my mom and then Kennedy was fine in the stroller. This year my mom is meeting me there to help with the kids... aka they get to go out and have fun all day! LOL

I am saying some prayers we can go!! I think it would such an incredible experience to meet everyone!!
You know what I was just thinking....for those of us that haven't met...we are going to recognize our KIDS rather than each other. I know we catch a glimpse of each other here and there in photos...but I could pick any of our kids out in a crowd...you know what I mean?

Hmmmmm, I haven't gotten away by myself in centuries (yes, I'm that old!!!). Hmmmmmm, I'm going to have to think about this. Hey, Leah, would you be going alone if you went or would Angela be with you? Just thinking we could split the cost of a room. Hmmmmmmmm.

I am thinking a crunching numbers. The NDSC is always been very recharging for my "advocate battery". For all of you that have not been to a NDSC conference, do try to go to one sometime, it is really quite an amazing expereince.

I am planning to go. We are due to move this summer and I'm hoping it'll be somewhere in the Southeast (many opportunities there). I was able to attend the conference in CA. It was awesome! I think it's one of the best things I've done since learning Ryan has DS. They took orders for cds covering the sessions at the conference last summer. I don't know if they are available through their website for those who can't attend. Lots of folks had children in strollers in the sessions. They were able to walk in and out of the rooms as they needed. I remember one lady put a blanket on the floor for her baby. My family is in Alabama so they've offerred to help me out this year. I can't wait! Now watch us have to move up North somewhere!
