Okay, I just registered for membership...
There are no registration forms for the Convention yet. :confused:

But I'm so excited you all are coming down here... Can't wait to meet everyone. I checked the other posts and It's hard to tell who is really IN and making plans to come.
So sign up on this post so we'll know for sure.

ya know we are not planning to go to the convention, but Atlanta, GA is NOT that far from us, so I'm thinkin a weekend trip would be nice!!! Wink

I just talked to my husband, we'll leave Thursday morning, be there Thursday night and have the whole weekend there, not the convention, but to meet all of you, can't wait!!!!!

We are planning to make a vacation out of it too.
We are driving out on that Monday, going to Williamsburg, VA and Seabrook Island SC. Arriving in Atlanta on Thursday.
We are soooooo excited to meet everyone.

We have made reservations at the hotel and plan on registering when NDSC makes that available.

However, now that I am pregnant things may change. I will be 7 months at time of conference. I delivered Wil at 7 months (and not because of Ds, he was taken emergently due to my high risk status). It remains to be seen how high risk this pregnancy will be, depends on the babies blood type but it is possible we will have to bail at the last minute.

I sure hope not, we are really looking forward to it.

Angela and I are going to try to go. We won't be attending the conference, as I'll have her along and I don't want her swearing at people during presentations. LOL But I want to meet all of you guys! So, a couple days in the hotel "doing stuff" etc. sounds fun to me!

I'm still working on it...depends on Judah's job situation. If he's still employed at the end of Feb. I'm so there. I'm bringing one of the mom's from my local DS group here. So, now you all have to pray Judah's job is stable then we can come out there and play with all the babies!!!!

We are planning on it....but with my husbands business....things change quickly around here. I have alot of faith that things will work out.....but as it gets closer...I'll know for sure.

Honestly, I can't think of a better place to go on our summer vacation. Getting to meet everyone and hug and kiss our beautiful kids.....that has got to be better than any amusement park. The fact that Atlanta has so many things to do...it looks like a great place to go.

I'm in...got my hotel room booked, checking in Friday and not leaving until Sunday! My bro and SIL just went to the new aquarium today-they said it was awesome and their kids loved it-for those of you staying longer than a couple of days, I do not think it is too far from the hotel- I probably won't get there for a while...I cannot wait to meet all of you guys!

We are going...we won't actually go to the convention most likely, and we are staying with my family in Atlanta instead of at the hotel, but we will meet you guys for dinner or whatever you do...ALSO there is that new BIG aquarium in ATL, if anyone is interested(who isn't going to the convention) I was thinking how FUN it would be to get together and go there maybe on Friday afternoon or Saturday???They just took my niece(2 years old) and she LOVED it! So anyway whatever you guys think...just a thought!-Courtney

I don't think I'll be going to the convention...just hanging out. I don't want to have to bring Angela into any conferences. When it's quiet like that (like church) she's busy making faces at people and trying to get them to laugh and generally a distraction. LOL

NDSC is actually the most family friendly convention you would ever want to attend.

The San Antonio DSA is sending some people to the conference....pray that I can go. It's based on volunteer hours from last year. I came in 7th place. They're sending 2 people to the World conference in Canada, and 4 people to Atlanta...so if someone in front of me can't go, I'm in! I don't know when decisions will be made???

It is looking likely that we are going to have to cancel our plans to go to the conference. High Risk pregnancy will not allow me to travel during that time. Sad

I have not cancelled our reservations yet, if someone is having a hard time getting a room at the hotel let me know. Hopefully I can just change the name of the reservation without a problem, I would love to pass it on to one of you guys.
