When I come to this site, I always go straight to "view new posts". If I reply to a post, it is a long and slightly annoying route to get back to the list of new posts. Any possibility of a shortcut? (If I click on 'go to first unread post' I get sent to the post I have just added).

I hit the login towards the bottom of the screen with my name and password. Once your logged in, you should be able to tell by the color variation of the icons, which ones you haven't read yet. Hope this helps. . .

After I get to the listing of new posts, I read them by right-clicking on them (one at a time) and using "Open in New Window". Then I can deal with each message separately, then return to the window with the list.

Nicola,
I'm with you. Sometimes I don't post a reply because I don't want to monkey with trying to get back to the posts I haven't read yet. Don't know what the solution is. Gotta go try to get back to the list of new posts!

Wow Jeff! You're so techno-savvy! My husband's always right clicking on things. I didn't even know what the right click button was for until recently.

I made a change to the search results screen so that when you click on a thread it opens in a new window. Let me know if this gets annoying and I will change it back.

I'm with Vonda -- it makes posting a response much easier. Thanks!

If there's anything else you want me to change just let me know. I'm a programmer so I love playing with the software!

Okay Tom, since you asked.....
How about the forum button at the top of the home page rather than down the bottom so that we don't have to scroll down each time. (now doesn't that sound lazy)
