Hi Tom, I'm having a problem with logging in. I used to be automatically logged in each time I came on. Now,not only am I not logged in when I arrive, but when I do log in, say to look at the pictures, before I can look at them, I'm logged out again. This happens with PMing too (that's why I'm posting this here rather than PMing you). I'm not sure if this is my computer's problem, or if there is a problem with my registration. I'll have my DH look at our computer when he gets a chance, but I was wondering if you could look at my registration as well. Thanks a lot, Mary

It's probably a cookie issue.
First make sure that cookies are turned on. To set up your security to allow cookies go to the "Tools>Internet Options..." menu item from the Internet Explorer menu bar. Selecting this should bring up the "Internet Options" screen. Click on the "Privacy" tab and make sure that your security is set to medium.
It could also be a corrupted cookie. Try logging out using the link in the lower right hand corner of the main screen. if that doesn't fix the problem then you need to manually delete the cookie. This is a multi-step process:
1) Select the Tools menu from the menu bar and click on "Internet Options".
2) Click "Delete files" from the middle of the general tab. It will take awhile to delete all the cached files
3) Click "Settings..."
4) Click "View Files..."
5) What you are looking at are cookies. Look for cookies that start with http://www.downsyn.com or downsyn.com and delete them.
6) Close all the windows and go to downsyn.com
7) You should not be logged in so log in. Hopefully everything is back to normal.

Tom, I wanted to belatedly thank you for your advice. I followed a bunch of your steps, and then it was working again. I feel so much better being able to freely pop on and off the forum.
