JenBrock'sMom

Hi all - Brock has been working on crawling since end of May. Started with hands and knees rocking, and now he is crawling - a combination of hands, one knee and one foot (got to get that video posted!), bear crawling (and taking a few headers in the process) and also scooting on his bottom. He can really go fast and we are officially using the baby gates hee hee. While he gets the credit for learning - there are a couple of toys that have really served as motivation - they are the Elmo dancing bird doll - and the V-Tech move and crawl ball.

Brock is also standing up at everything - he even tries standing in the bath tub - by pulling up on the side. We are a lot busier these days - but it is great. Cruising furniture is what we are now working on.

Some final brags - Brock just mastered waving - and is even using it occassionally at the appropriate time Very Happy

; he started clapping two weeks before his birthday; he switched to whole milk and is doing great; and he got two teeth the beginning of June (no more yet!).

Needless to say - I'm a proud mommy and feel so fortunate that I can share Brock's successes with all of you!

WTG Brock. Keep up the good work, Carson is right behind you and I love watching you so I know what he will be doing next. I don't know if you have it or not, but I just go Carson the Fisher Price piano. He loves it dearly and rocks to the music. He is using it to try to pull up these days and it is very sturdy. Since I recognize all of Carson's toys every time I see Brock's picture, I thought he might like that one too.

WOw he is doing a lot! I love the waving, it is just so cute. Avery did the one foot one knee crawl too...funny! I will have to have a look see at these cool crawling toys, they sound interesting.

Way to go little man!!!!
Pulling up on furniture is our next step and I gotta tell you I am not ready. Poor little Kait gets banged up enough let alone this pulling up stuff. I am her biggest toy these days. She follows me everywhere. Oh yeah and electrical cords she unplugs the vacuum everyday.
