2 DOGS! We adopted Sandy, our Golden Retriever, back just after New Years. Well, I was looking on FREECYCLE, and someone posted for a loving dog to a good home: free. Her name is ABBY, she's approx. 1 year old, black lab, and something mixed. Don't know what the other is, but she's SOLID JET BLACK! She's gorgeous. the family we adopted her from had taken her in a few months ago as a stray found wandering the woods and in pretty bad shape. They nursed her, along with their vet, back to GREAT condition. They'd planned to keep in house but their chocolate lab just didn't care for the "puppy" stage. So, they were forced to keep her on a TIE OUT at a tree in backyard. They wanted her to go to a home that had either someone whom could walk her, (more like she walks you), or a huge backyard. Now, the 2 girls are getting along OKAY, but they have some work to do. I call it "Who's The Boss?" You know, 2 women trying to prove ones more fit to be leader of the backyard while one says, forget that I've been here longer than you have so HA! As soon as I can get pictures I'll post! She's the sweetest dog you've ever met. Great disposition. Sandy needs some obedience training!
