Daniel started walking about 2 or so weeks ago really good, now he moves so fast that we had to gate our steps because he litterally runs to the steps and climbs up them so fast before you know it , hes at the top!
We are now working on the sippy cup....any tips? the boy is just not ready to give up that bubby....

Oh and you should see him do it, I have to admit, sometimes I do clap and laugh so hard I have to sit down, because he is still walking kind of like a drunk man, but boy does he move when he wants something. Or sometimes he goes so fast that he falls in my arms, those are the good times!

WEll, I have to say I am sooo proud and impressed! What a big boy! Only a month older than Koby! Great job Daniel!
As far as the sippy, I FINALLY got the cut off.....I tell you what...It is do or die...THe only way I did it was to get the Nuby cut that has the silicone spout(I think they are SUPER cheap at Wal-Mart or Target) and just say alight Daniel here is your Milk, and he can do it or throw a fit but Dont' give in...it took about 3 days, and now he doesn't want the bottle...if he SEEs one like out in public that another baby has, he will start signign eat milk , but I just ignore it! Or get his mind on to something else! It has been a few weeks now,a nd we are good to go! I decided he had to do it before he went into the hospital, because vainly I didn't want them to judge me for him being almost 2 and still on a bottle...stupid, i know but hey, he is off!-Courtney

That's so funny Courtney but the same thing happen to us and Daniel.
My Daniel was was still using the bottle until a month ago when he was ready to start daycare and in the first interview they asked me if he was still using the bottle. so I said sometimes but mostly the sippy cup, well that was a little stretch of the true so I had to just switch him immediatly, thank God for the silicone top sippy cups, they work perfect for my Daniel Maybe this would be perfect for your Daniel too.

wtg daniel!! u r so big!!
i use the gerbers sippy cups but the 7 oz sippy cups they are softers to drink.
i tooked out the valve, so elias can know that he can drink from it, and he instantly understood how it worked, what i had most fight with was so he could hold it, but he figured it out by himself and at his own time.
