Hi, my name is Danni and Im 33 years old from Melbourne Australia. I have a gorgeous 11 month old daughter named Paige who was born with Down Syndrome. Im so glad I found a forum dedicated to D/S, I look forward to sharing my stories of Paige with all of you.

Welcome to the board. I pulled up your thread and JUST as I was reading it and saw that you were from Austrailia, the TV was saying that Steve Irwin's memorial service was being held. How sad? Hi Danni and Paige

Its wonderful to see another Auzzie joining up. We're from Waikerie in South Australia but travel to Adelaide (about 2hrs) for all our EI. We've actually just walked in the door from Melbourne. My husbands family live there and we have friends who have a girl (3yrs) who has DS. Dakota is 14months and she's doing fine.

Looking forward to hearing LOTS more about your family.

I am another Aussie, in NSW. I have good friends who lived in Bacchus Marsh. What is the population there??

Ruby's mum- I hadn't noticed before that you were from Coffs Harbour. I am in Crescent Head- only an hour away! In fact we were in Coffs for the weekend just a month ago. What a shame I didn't know you were there! I would love to meet up some time!

Hi Danni welcome to the forum.

We in Australia too! Middlemount 3hrs west of Mackay, I new there were a few of us but wow!!!. I had no idea there were so many. Some I hadn’t realized were from here.
Aden is 9mths We love him so much, I never knew a love like this before.

I guess it’s a bit like going from no children to a family. Then from a family to being blessed with a child with Down syndrome. Lucky us, Now how to enlighten the rest of the world. Very Happy
