Hi everyone! My name is Angie and I have 3 boys: Johnny 5, Logan 3, and Charlie (ds) 15 months. We are from the Twin Cities. I was referred to this great site by Tracy (haftr). Thanks Tracy and Will!! We did not know that Charlie was going to be born with DS. For our family, it was a good thing because Charlie has had many health issues and surgeries since he was born. I think that if I knew while I was still preg. I would just worry to much. Charlie is such a great addition to our family. We wouldn't have it any other way! I am really looking forward to meeting your families. Thank you for allowing me join your network!

Welcome! We have a Charlie too (9 months old)! We also did not know our Charlie had DS prenatally; actually, we didn't find out until he was 2 months old. Glad you could join us. Very Happy

Hello!!! I grew up in Minneapolis and now live in Minnetonka. Were you at the Buddy Walk in St. Paul last Sunday? We were there and my son was the one marching down the path pushing people out of his way when the crowd slowed down!

Glad to have you here! This place has been my life saver since John was born. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

I'm so glad you found it! By the way... Angie and I graduated from high school together AND went to the same college. It was such a surprise to find out that we each had boys born with ds, and they are only a few months apart! Such a small world!!

You'll need to add some more pictures so that everybody can see how ADORABLE your little man is!

Did you see the post about the Midwest Get-Together the first weekend in November?? It's in Waterloo, Iowa; it's about 200 miles from Mpls, I think??? (Not sure on that...) But there are others coming from MN, I know. We'd all sure love to meet you both! (Not that I speak for all downsyn Iowans, but you know what I mean!!) LOL

Welcome! Good to know someone else from Minneapolis/St. Paul area! There are a few of us that are on here from Minnesota. We live in Lakeville. Anthony is 9 months and we did not have a prior diagnosis either. I have two other boys 7 and 4.

Welcome to the family! We also did not know that Natalie had ds until she was born. I am finding that to be very common. I can't wait to see some pictures of him. (and your other sons of course) Very Happy
